As preparations for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games gain momentum, the Organising Committee has officially launched its Procurement Programme, opening significant opportunities for event suppliers worldwide; including AGES members.
Building the Future of Global Events
The launch event in Brisbane attracted more than 1,500 participants (with over 400 joining online), underscoring the strong global interest in the Games’ supply chain. More than 50 Expressions of Interest (EOIs) have been released, spanning event production, overlay, technology, logistics, and venue operations – representing a potential A$2.5 billion in contracts.
For those in the overlay and event infrastructure sectors, this is a rare opportunity to engage early, connect with key buyers, and help shape the delivery of one of the world’s most ambitious sporting events.
What It Means for AGES Members
Brisbane 2032 offers more than procurement opportunities – it’s a platform for AGES members to:
- Engage early with the procurement process and decision-makers.
- Showcase leadership in sustainable and innovative event delivery.
- Strengthen their international profile within a major global network.
AGES members bring the expertise, reliability, and innovation that will be essential in delivering world-class infrastructure and memorable experiences.
A Legacy Beyond the Games
The Brisbane 2032 initiative is more than a procurement programme; it’s a chance to redefine best practice in event infrastructure, sustainability, and community impact. By getting involved early, suppliers can not only secure new opportunities but also contribute to a lasting legacy for the global events industry.
