Categories of Memberships
AGES invites all global leaders and key stakeholders involved in the planning and delivery of temporary infrastructure at international events to join the association.
With a collective annual turnover of over 3 billion euros from its members, AGES brings together suppliers across various overlay categories, all driving innovation within the industry. The association serves as a trusted label for quality and reliability in the provision of temporary infrastructure for major events.

3.1 The membership to AGES shall be open to leading suppliers of services and works for temporary or permanent event infrastructures, so called “overlay works” required to host international events.
3.2 These services and works may comprise tents, temporary buildings and pavilions, containers, flooring, seating, power generation and distribution, lighting and sound , fencing, security gates, stages, scaffoldings, footbridges and cable trusses, heating & cooling, water, sewage, toilets, sanitary, kitchen, furniture & fittings, signage & way finding, look items, as well as other work categories related to temporary infrastructure works (overlay works).
3.3 The membership as a full member, hereinafter called “member” is, granted by the Board, if the following prerequisite and conditions are fulfilled:
- You are possessing modern, adequate and professional material, equipment or software to run your business
- You are employing technical staff (Project Managers, Technician, etc) to secure the professional
- installation/operation/dismantling of your products or works
- You are using adequate facilities, such as manufacturing facilities, or warehouses, or logistics to run your business
- You are considering yourself a leading provider (by perception) in your market area with a substantial market share
- You have a proven track record on successfully supplying overlay works for international events
- You have a Health & Safety Policy for the indicated work categories in place
3.4 The Board shall consult a competent third party agency, if no clear position can be reached by the Board.
3.5 The membership as an associated member, hereinafter called “associated member” being persons, agencies, architect firms, institutions, consultants, planners and others as long as such members are related to the business and can contribute to the goals of AGES.
Also companies providing works as categorized, but who do not completely qualify as full member, may be granted such membership.
To become an associated member, the applicants shall fill out a simple Application Form with a short justification. The memberships as associated members will be granted by the Board at their sole discretion.
3.6 The Board can at their sole discretion also grant honorary membership, hereinafter called “honorary member” to persons, companies or institution, if they have specifically supported AGES or they are following similar goals.
3.7 Associated or honorary members may be invited to events or meetings organized by AGES at the discretion of the Board.
3.8 Membership starts January 1st of each calendar year, or July 1st for semi-annual membership and ends December 31st of the same year. Semi-annual membership is only possible when entering into AGES.
- Fully completed Application Form including a recommendation by at least one existing member
- Payment of Membership Fee (pro rata if membership granted during the fiscal year)
- Certification that the applicant has been in business for at least 5 years and is operating adequate facilities and employs own personnel
- Acceptance by the applicant of the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct
- The applicant is possessing adequate, modern material and/or equipment
- The applicant is employing technical staff to secure the professional delivery of his products/works
- The applicant is a leading provider (by perception) in his market area with a proven track record on successfully supplying overlay works for international events
- The applicant shall have an international activity or have a leading position covering a large area in his home country (new or large markets)
For 2025, both associate members and full members are required to pay a one-time entry fee of €1,000.
Members (with voting rights).
This category is open to global suppliers, contractors and companies fulfilling all membership criteria and conditions.
The membership is automatically renewed unless terminated by a party in accordance to the Articles of Incorporation.

This category is highly selective. Further details are available upon application validation.
Associate Member (without voting rights).
This category is for persons, firms, agencies, and corporations who are connected to the business of the members, i.e. belong to the same Eco System but who do not necessarily qualify as a member.
The associate membership is automatically renewed unless terminated by a party in accordance to the Articles of Incorporation.
For members joining in 2025, as it will not be a complete year, the membership fees are set at €2,300 for Members and €1,500 for Associate Members. These fees are exclusive of VAT.
The yearly membership fee for 2026 is €3,500 for Members and €2,250 for Associate Members, exclusive of VAT.
